Santa times two...

We saw Santa Claus twice in one weekend!Friday night we drove by Senske Lawn and their AWESOME display of lights. We noticed people were parking and going inside so we decided to check it out. And we found Santa! Eliza was pretty nervous about talking to him but since we went up there with her she did ok. Then they gave us candy canes and hot chocolate! The next day we went to a Holiday fair with lots of games, crafts, and snacks for the kids. And Santa was there too! Since we took friends with us Eliza was a little more willing to go up to Santa with them there too. Quite the Santa filled weekend...although this did cause Eliza to ask when Santa would be coming to her house many times after!

Dear Santa...

Eliza wrote her letter to Santa today. We had to be sure to tell him that we will not be at our house this year...we'll be having fun at Cocolalla. Then we took her letter to a special mailbox. Santa hurry please!

O Christmas tree...

We had our annual Christmas tree decorating party on Monday night. Eliza kept asking when we were going to decorate the tree. I guess that's one benefit to having a fake tree...we did it right away!Eliza helping daddy put the star on top.Our best attempt at a family picture by the tree. We're ready to celebrate this wonderful season!

Happy Birthday Darran!

Happy Birthday Darran! We love you so much...thank you for being such an amazing dad and husband! We couldn't love you more!

This picture cracks me up!It was wonderful to have Grandmother Moody here with us! Talia is always good for a nice snuggle! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner! Eliza was in heaven with all of her cousins. Including Ryan and Briella since Greg and Kelly were here for the week! Which was so fun!! And her second cousins that came down from Spokane.Talia got to eat at the "adult table."Papa, Kelly, Greg, and Dean.Darran, me, Talia, Grandmother, and Nana. Snow!

We woke up to snow on November 20th! More fall time...

When Daddy raked up the leaves on Saturday he had a couple of girls who were very excited to jump in them!Eliza in her pile of leaves.Monkey see, monkey do. If Eliza screams, Talia does too. If Eliza would someday smile for the camera maybe Talia would too...who knows? Either way these girls were having fun in the leaves!Talia in her pile of leaves. And they can't get enough of swinging. In fact, we might even be out there in the snow this winter!

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween night! We started out at the trunk-or-treat......then went trick-or-treating at Nana and Papa's. They're making faces in this picture...well, I think Papa is?Then over to Grandpa and Grandma's for more trick-or-treating!A close up of Talia's hair! As you can see she was thrilled about having her picture taken.Eliza was Sleeping Beauty and Talia was a lion. I really didn't have to do much to Talia's hair to add to her mane but the little head band was cute. She loves candy! And had her fair share! She actually was really cute about handing it out too.The lion trying to escape!Looking for more trick-or-treaters! Happy Halloween!

Cousins...

Emma was baptized on Sunday. It was a fun and very special day for Eliza with her cousins. (Apparently we didn't get a picture of Emma!)Eliza sang a special musical number with Myanna, Alissa, and Bella. She did so good...and they sounded beautiful! She sure does adore her cousins!

Carving pumpkins...

Papa and Nana helped us carve pumpkins this year.We had them over for carving and to watch the BYU/TCU game. (I would say our pumpkins turned out better than the game.)Eliza did a really good job of helping carve her own pumpkin...it was team effort!Pumpkins all carved...Darran's pirate ship, Eliza's toothy happy face, and Talia's silly face. The girls with their pumpkins!

Time outside...

We've been trying to enjoy the fall weather before we're shut inside cause it's too cold! We've had some beautiful days!Talia likes riding the horse best.Eliza calls this the rocket...I think it's a jet ski. Who really cares? She has fun.Once I started taking pictures she wanted a picture doing just about everything.Eliza is a good big sister...they love going down the slide together. We love fall!
