Dance Recital!

Eliza had her dance recital on June 6th.  It was at an outside stage in Columbia park and about 94 degrees but she did an amazing job!
Nana and Papa came to watch...
...and so did Grandpa and Grandma.
It was a pretty relaxed recital so we ate a picnic dinner while we waited for her turn.

She is on the very end, far left.

She is a talented dancer and it has been fun to watch her grow this year.
Well done Eliza!

End of preschool!

Talia has been part of a co-op preschool this year.  She was the only girl with 5 boys...and she didn't mind one bit.  Each mom taught for 2 weeks and we rotated homes.
We all got together to celebrate a successful year with a bbq and a little graduation.  Here are the graduates...Cole, Gage, Talia, Coy, Brayden, and Thomas.
And the graduate herself!
We had a fun year!

Who needs a spoon?

We're introducing the world of silverware to Lydia.  As these pictures will attest...we're having a rough time.  At least she's enjoying it!

This girl LOVES yogurt!

Memorial Day Weekend!

May 22nd Eliza got to celebrate her birthday at school since she has a summer birthday.  She made cupcakes and took them to school.  Then we picked her up after school and headed to Cocolalla for Memorial weekend!
Usually we work, work, work...but the weather was too good to not get a little boating in!

And we had an extra special guest!  Uncle Bryan came and spent the weekend with us and drank all our chocolate milk was a HUGE help!
And Lydia got a hold of her first sucker on the way home.  Needless to say she was a sticky mess but had a death grip on that thing!
We had a great weekend...now bring on the summer!

Happy Mother's Day!

I was treated wonderfully on Mother's Day!
I got a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries!

Breakfast made for me on Sunday morning!

 And lots of special gifts!

But the best part was spending the day with these crazies!
Later that day we celebrated with dinner at Grandma's!
Happy Mother's Day!

Time to be outside!

We went to the park one night and had a picnic dinner!

This girl loves her daddy...they swing together and mow the lawn together!

Double the tooth fairy work!

Eliza and Talia lost a tooth on the same day!  I was kind of worried because Talia is only 4 but she's just starting things off early.
They wrote a letter to the tooth fairy and then she visited them both that night!

 Toothless sisters!

Random pictures...

Lydia likes to have whatever anyone else has...so she thought she was pretty special when she got a hold of my water bottle...
 ...and helped herself.

A beautiful sunset on the water on a date night!
Eating dinner outside for the first time of the season!

 Love these sisters!

Talia and some of her gymnastics moves!
