Pumpkin Patch...

Our Joy School took a field trip to the pumpkin patch today...and the best part was that Daddy got to come!It couldn't have been better! Great company, PERFECT weather, and amazing timing...there were like three other people there!Hayride out to pick their pumpkins.Eliza's prize pumpkin (right next to her feet...she wouldn't pick it up).That's Eliza's head poking up way in the back of the hay maze. Too funny.On top of the hay pyramid.Daddy getting some lovin'.Talia never holds back...petting the bunny.Her favorite part was probably the cookie (which she ate the entire thing with no problem) and the orange drink (which stained her shirt and gave her an orange mustache) but she was happy!A good snack after a fun time!

Weekend in Oregon...

We made a trip to Corvallis this last weekend to watch the BYU/OSU football game. We spent a little bit of time shopping at the Woodburn Outlet.The pumpkin behind Eliza weighed 1500 pounds...it was huge!There was a tree house that we played on for a little while.Eliza hiding in the tree trunk.And then of course Talia had to have her turn!We were very excited that the Cougs had a victorious game. Corvallis is beautiful and the atmosphere and weather were perfect!We had AWESOME seats thanks to our wonderful Dallan!Eliza and Talia had a great time. Talia had the undivided attention of the people in front of her. She would wave her pom pom and yell "Go! Go! Go!"We discovered that Lavell Edwards was sitting in the row right in front of us! Darran decided to talk to him at half time and of course he was super kind. His grandson served in Nana and Papa's mission so Darran talked to him a bit about that. Then he was nice enough to let us take a picture. Such a sweet man and obviously a devoted fan!Cosmo! This picture is for Cousin Mitch (can't say that Eliza was too excited about being so close to him).On Sunday we went to church, stopped by and said hi to Darcee and family for a few minutes, and then headed home. We stopped at Multnomah Falls.Tal and her daddy!Such a beautiful waterfall!The girls with their grandparents!These two can't get enough of their Grandma!Such a fun weekend!

Book worm...

If Talia can sneak into Eliza's room unnoticed this is probably where you'll find her.She's following in big sister's footsteps...a comfy chair, a blanket (which she put on herself), and a good book. I love my little book worms!

Outside at work...

Eliza still mows the lawn......in sandals, a skirt and a helmet! This moment was too funny not to capture! And just in time...right after I took the picture she realized she still had her helmet on. She had been riding her scooter right before this. Her time outside usually consists of a try at her bike, then some scooter riding, a good lawn mowing, and finally a stroll in her car.

Cold weather...we are in noooo hurry!

High School Football...

We took the girls to the Kamiakin vs. Southridge football game with Nana and Papa on Friday night.This picture doesn't really show it but Talia had a blast! She watched everything, clapped, cheered and got excited! And even though it was a late night she did great!I'm not sure what Eliza enjoyed more...the game or the snacks? The most confusing part for her was every time a "time out" was called she asked who or where they were going to time out. She wasn't quite understanding the difference between her time out and a football time out! Fall brings a lot of football to our house...good thing these girls enjoy it so much!

First hair cut...

Nope, not Talia's...Eliza! 3 years old and we finally decided it was time for a haircut!Here's the proof! I gave her the choice of going somewhere to get it cut or do it myself. To my surprise she wanted me to do it! (My only experience was cutting my companion's hair on the mission...it wasn't pretty.) But I thought with her curly hair I couldn't do much damage! She's pretty happy about it! And has even asked for me to do it again. Next time we'll let the professionals do it I think!

Sunday afternoon walk...

After General Conference on Sunday we went for a walk in Columbia Park. Eliza was excited to feed the ducks. Talia was excited to quack at them!We just enjoyed being together and taking a stroll through the park.
