Karisa is home!

Karisa came home today!!!! (Monday, July 18th)
15 days in the hospital and now we get her home with us!
We went to the hospital for one last feeding and then waited to be discharged.

Grandma and big sisters were anxiously waiting at home!

This is what daddy was looking forward to...snuggling up on the couch!
Unfortunately, Lydia got a cold/cough right before Karisa came home.  But she was a trooper and was willing to wear a mask when she held Karisa.

After almost 2 months in the hospital we are finally a family all under the same roof once again!  Yeah!!!!!

Open crib!

Karisa is in an open crib!  This is big time!!!  She needs to show she can maintain her temperature by being in open air - wrapped up in a lot of blankets!  And Eliza was pretty excited to see her cheetah blanket!

Dance camp...

Lydia came with us to the hospital while the girls finished up their last day of dance camp.

Then we went over to watch them perform the dance they had been working on.  They are good little dancers!

Bath time!

Bath time!  We've figured out things have changed in the hospital since we were here with Lydia.  We had to be shown a demonstration of how to bathe Karisa.  Honestly, this is our 4th child...if we don't know how to give baths by now we're in trouble!  But it was still fun to see her get clean!  She didn't like being cold and naked but as soon as it was shampoo time she relaxed!

Aunt Elayna and Avery...

Aunt Elayna and Avery came home and were a huge help to us.  With all the back and forth from the hospital it was so great to have her here to help with the girls.  And they loved being with Avery...it made us super excited for them to come back in August when we can REALLY have some fun!
