Karisa had the feeding tube replaced...this time in her nose. She usually gets really close to finishing her entire bottle. If she doesn't then she gets the rest of it through her tube.
The exciting news from today is that she is in clothes!!! Yahoo! That means we're that much closer to having her moved into an open crib (which is closer to coming home)! I got to dress her...which is no easy feat in an isolette!
Then she got a visit from Lydia...her VERY proud sister! She kept telling the nurses that she is "a big sister!" In fact, we were able to see one of the nurses who had taken care of Lydia quite a bit when she had been in the NICU. It was fun to talk with her and re-introduce her to Lydia! Those nurses are pretty amazing people!
She has the bottle all ready!
Poking...
touching softly...
I LOVE this picture!
hugging...
and kissing.
Karisa has a few sisters who can't wait to have her home.
Then she'll have more poking, touching, hugging, and kissing then she could ever want!
