Moody girl happenings...

 Nightgown fashion show...
These girls LOVE to wear nightgowns.  They each got one at Christmas and wear it all the time.  Since it's starting to warm up I figured they might not want to wear fleece pajamas every night.  So we made these...a t-shirt sewn to a pillow case.  The pillow cases belonged to Grandma Bishop and I thought they were the perfect decorative bottom half to their nightgown.
And they loved them...and wear these every night now!

Sometimes Lydia can't decide what she wants to suck on...but this was looking too much like Talia (I couldn't resist a picture).

After playing outside the other night I came into the bathroom to find this.
Me: "What are you guys doing?"
Eliza: "Having a spa mom!"
Talia: "Oh, it feels so nice!"
Seriously...who is there mom?  I'm pretty sure I didn't know what a spa was until I was a teenager.  But if I can get away with the spa being the bathroom sink I'll take it...that way it's cheaper!

Happy Mother's Day!

The night before Mother's Day we went over to Nana and Papa's for dinner and to give them their Mother's Day/Father's Day/Brithday gift...and new BBQ!  They were pretty excited!
Then we left the girls with them for awhile so Darran and I could go to an Elder's Quorum social.  They watched Frozen together and were in Heaven!

The next morning Darran and the girls made me breakfast.  Eliza and Talia hid a bunch of pictures/presents they made for me around the family room.
I had to play hot and cold to find them all!
They gave me a new double jogger stroller so we can get out and enjoy the nice weather!  Darran and Talia stayed home from church cause Talia wasn't feeling well.  We stayed home and took it easy the rest of the day.
I love these sweet girls...I'm a lucky mom!
Trying out the new stroller!
Somebody please stop time...what's happening to my little girls!?
Happy Mother's Day!

Spring Dance Recital

May 8th was dance recital night!  I might have been a tinge more excited than the girls since I got to be in attendance this time!  Watching through the miracle of smart phones from the hospital last time wasn't my favorite!  And Lydia couldn't get enough...she was mesmerized!
 Ready to dance!
 Waiting with their class.
They did a ballet dance to Let it Go and a jazz dance to Hawaiian Roller Coaster.
Poor Talia's shoe came off but she didn't skip a beat!
 We love our little dancers!
They both did great!  They LOVE to dance!
