First TEETH!

If you look very closely...at her bottom gum you can see the beginning of 2 new little teeth! The one on the right started coming in first and then the one on the left. She's been doing pretty well with them...just some extra chewing and drooling!

Bath Time!

Eliza has loved baths since day one! We couldn't resist taking some pictures as she played in the tub! Her newest joy is splashing herself by smacking her hands on top of the water. Ahhh, the little pleasures in life!

Missionary grandchild!

Missionary Papa and Nana sent the grandkids T-shrits from the Baltimore Maryland Mission. This is Eliza showing her's off. The front says CTR and the back says Baltimore Maryland Mission. We're proud of you Papa and Nana! Thank you for your service and example! We love you!

Jumper Time!

Eliza figured out how to jump in her jumper yesterday! It was hilarious to watch. Every first thing for us is a milestone so we took video of course!

Strange sleep positions...

It seems like each day is an adventure for Eliza when she is sleeping! Where will she end up? How many times will she turn over? And how many times will her little love bug end up on top of her (like this picture). Usually we find it on top of her face! When we find it like that her hands and feet are usually shaking like crazy trying to get someone to take it off her. We're a little confused as to why she can get it on her face but not off!

Eliza's spare time...

In Eliza's "spare time" (when Daddy is home) she can be found watching the train/airplane go around and around and around...
or helping on the computer! She also enjoys "eating" the remote, helping mommy practice the piano, and watching dinner being made. She's a very inquisitive little girl!

Grandpa's little princess!

We had to make sure to get a picture with Grandpa Hague and Eliza wearing this little shirt before it was too late. All of a sudden she's growing out of lots of clothes! It says "Grandpa's little princess"...and that's the truth!

Winter time

Darran finally got to make Eliza a snowman before all our snow was blown away.
Our house during the holidays. Thanks to my parents and Andy for helping put all the lights up! It looks even better with all the snow!

Welcome 2009!

This is an indication of how wild our New Years was! We spent New Years in Kellogg, Idaho with the Moody clan. This is how Eliza woke up one morning...despite the crazy hair that would indicate a crazy night she did extremely well for her first vacation!
Why is playing in snow so much fun when it's not in your own backyard? It was beautiful where we were and we didn't even mind when it snowed all day!
Eliza got a "snow suit" for Christmas...it was a little too big for her. Her arms and feet didn't even reach the parts made specifically to fit them!
All bundled up and ready to play! Have you ever seen A Christmas Story?
Eliza came outside for awhile and Darran even took her on a sled ride.
Taylor, Ethan, and Missy.
The house we stayed in was at the top of a S-shaped driveway. It ended up being the perfect hill for us to sled down! We had so much fun!

Eliza's first sled ride!

Christmas morning...

Christmas morning we opened presents at our house before heading over to Grandpa and Grandma Hague's. Eliza is ready!
She actually did really well at opening her presents. But after one or two we helped speed up the process!

Darran and his new Geo Trax airplane.

Christmas Day!

Opening presents on Christmas Day at Grandpa and Grandma's. And just like any little kid...the wrapping paper is even better than the actual present!
Talking with missionary Uncle Dallin serving in Brazil. It was the first time that he heard Eliza "talk" and his parents referred to as Grandpa and Grandma!

Grandpa and Grandma gave Eliza a jumper for Christmas. Daddy set it up and she gave it a try!

The traditional Moody picture with all her new things. She looks pretty happy...and we'll be sure to keep this picture to show her how spoiled she was...even as the oldest child!

Such an exciting day! Eliza was so tired after her first Christmas she couldn't even make it home from Grandpa and Grandma's, just down the road, without falling asleep!
