A little piano practice...

Eliza likes to help me practice the hymns for Relief Society during the week. Although, she really prefers that I don't play much so she can have it all to herself. We needed a picture and little video of this to prove to her in the future that at one point she did WANT to "practice" and actually seemed to enjoy it!

Yucky!

We decided to let Eliza try some carrots yesterday...
She wasn't sure about that taste at first!

But then she made up her mind...

...hey, that's the same look daddy gets when he eats broccoli!

New pictures!

Eliza had her pictures taken yesterday. And even though we couldn't get her to do her big, sweet smile we were still pretty happy with how these ones turned out!

Undressing already!

I have heard that little girls like to dress, and undress, themselves. But already!? I couldn't resist taking a picture of this when I realized how Eliza was not really dressed waking up from a nap. I promise that is not how I put her to bed. She thought it was pretty funny that I was laughing so hard. I hope she didn't take that as encouragement to keep it up! Time for a modesty talk!?

Thanks for the paper!

I had to laugh this morning when I saw this...I took the garbage out to the curb and as I was walking back to the house something caught my eye. I looked at the roof and low and behold saw our newspaper! I guess our paper person ate their Wheaties this morning! They were nice enough to give us another one because Darran got it off the porch this morning. Guess we'll find out how long it's really been there when we get it down. Too funny!

Happy Anniversary!

The 19th was our 4th year anniversary! Wow, how time flies! Darran sent me flowers...what a wonderful husband! That night my parents watched Eliza and we went out to get our temple recommends renewed (I know...exciting) and out to dinner. We went to Famous Dave's so of course we came home with enough left overs for lunch, dinner, and probably another lunch! But we're not complaining!
Thanks mom and dad for letting us sneak away. And thank you Darran for being such a loving, generous, caring, thoughtful, romantic, funny, hard working, dedicated husband! I love you so much!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's a Hague tradition to have a special Valentine's dinner as a family...complete with candy on the table. So Eliza had her first Valentine's dinner. At least next year she'll get to enjoy the yummy food. Love to all!

First cereal!

On Saturday Eliza got her first taste of Rice Cereal. Pretty exciting...Daddy had to keep reassuring Mommy that the next step wasn't dating and driving! She's just growing up so fast!
Thanks Daddy...that's yummy!

Sure I could eat some more...
...or just do it by myself!

Enough with the pictures already! I'm just eating!

First TEETH!

If you look very closely...at her bottom gum you can see the beginning of 2 new little teeth! The one on the right started coming in first and then the one on the left. She's been doing pretty well with them...just some extra chewing and drooling!

Bath Time!

Eliza has loved baths since day one! We couldn't resist taking some pictures as she played in the tub! Her newest joy is splashing herself by smacking her hands on top of the water. Ahhh, the little pleasures in life!

Missionary grandchild!

Missionary Papa and Nana sent the grandkids T-shrits from the Baltimore Maryland Mission. This is Eliza showing her's off. The front says CTR and the back says Baltimore Maryland Mission. We're proud of you Papa and Nana! Thank you for your service and example! We love you!
