Friday in Seattle!

The day after school got out we headed to Seattle to visit Audrey and Jon.  We stopped in North Bend to do some quick shopping.  We had to make a bathroom run first.  Right next to the bathroom was one of those claw machines.  Someone had left money in it so Eliza started to play.  I took the girls to the bathroom and when we came out Darran had won 2 balls from the machine!
I was cracking up!  Growing up I had a little obsession with these machines and always thought I could win something and NEVER did!  Then we come upon one that someone has left money in and Darran wins twice...and I didn't even witness it cause I was in the bathroom!

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner with Audrey and Jon that night.  The next day we went over to their place, made masks, ate lunch at a yummy hamburger place, and then went over to the Children's Museum.

Audrey and Jon are the best aunt and uncle...and grocery store employees!

Firefighter Talia.
And pet vet Talia.
There was a stage they could perform on (not that my children need a stage to dance around) so they were in heaven.
Talia's interpretive dance.

Darran thought this was pretty funny that we had all 3 kids on one stroller...I call it efficient.
That night we headed to a Mariner's game!  And had awesome box seats!

Daddy and his girls at the baseball game...living a dream!
And the icing on the cake...Felix was pitching.
Such an awesome stadium!

Grandpa, Grandma, and Kylie joined us too.

There was a really nice worker that took pictures of the girls and gave them hats and certificates for attending their first Mariner's game.
Almost the whole gang!

Even though the Mariner's lost we had a great time!  Nothing like great seats with the family at a baseball game!

Last day of school!

Eliza's last day of school was June 11th...Kindergarten down...now on to 1st grade!

Happy Birthday!

 Another birthday...another year older.
We had a yummy summer bbq for my birthday dinner...
...and strawberry shortcake since we had LOTS of strawberries!
And life is always better with my favorite licorice...thanks mom and dad!
 Happy Birthday to mom!
We had to take a few pictures of the cousins...Owen is 9 days old in this picture.  How has Lydia gotten so big!?  They always seem small till you compare them to someone smaller!

 Sweet babies holding hands!
And of course the big cousins wanted in on the picture too!

Weekend in Portland...

The first weekend in June we went over to Portland to see Dallin, Cassie, and Kylie, do a little summer shopping, and pick strawberries!  We got there Thursday night and then headed over to the outlet mall on Friday.
Talia, Eliza, and Kylie in the tree house.
 They love being cousins.
Talia lending a friendly shopping hand.
 The shopping crew.
 We swam at the hotel.

The next day we picked strawberries!

I should have taken a picture of our strawberries...23 pounds worth!  Needless to say I made a little bit of jam the next 2 days!  Yummy!!!

New baby nephew!

Welcome Baby Owen!
We have a new nephew!  Andy and Julie welcomed Owen Kevin Hague to the family at 12:13 am on May 30th.  He weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 22 inches long.  He's a sweet little boy!

Happy baby!

 This little girl is SMILEY!

 She loves her big sister!
And she's already ruling the house as the queen!
Thanks to big sister Talia who dressed her up...crown, cape, and shoes!

School Carnival!

Eliza had her first school carnival on the 30th.  She was soooo excited!  On the way there she was explaining to Talia how everything was going to work.
Waiting for their turn in a bounce house.
Hair sprayed and colored...they wanted to see their hair so Daddy took a picture.
Taking a ride down the bounce house slide!
That night was the beginning of many more school carnivals in our future!

Memorial Weekend!

Memorial Weekend we headed up to Cocolalla to get some work done and have some fun.  We did some Spring cleaning on Friday and then Saturday Darran and I went into Spokane to see Wicked!  The girls stayed at the house to "party" with Grandpa, Grandma, and Brayden.  Before the show we had lunch with everyone...right on the Spokane Falls.

Wicked!!!  We love this show!  It was our third time!
We had a fire and roasted marshmallows!
 It was Lydia's first fire!
 Cheesey cousins...they LOVE Cocolalla!
And Krispy Kreme's for breakfast!
All that made for a fun, productive weekend!
