Day #2

Moody reunion Day #2
We went on a family hike in the morning.

 Such sweet cousins.

The whole hiking gang.

Papa and Lydia.
In the afternoon we played Moodywood Squares...it is not a joke how many nicknames are in our family!

There was some relaxing in the hot tub.

And yummy food and games to last through the night!

Moody family reunion...

Moody Reunion Day #1
We got to the house we were staying at (right outside of SLC) later in the afternoon.  We had dinner and then gathered together for some family time.

The house we stayed in was amazing!
We could play pool...
foosball...
and ping pong all in the same room!

It was the beginning of lots of games and competition!

Pre-reunion...

We flew down to Utah a day before our Moody reunion started.  And I got to see Jana!  I was so excited to see her...it's been way too long.  We stopped by their house for dinner and some catching up.
My how things have changed...here we are years down the road from college.  Each of us with our 3 girls.  Love it.
But oh how I wish we lived closer!  Our visit was too short...next time we'll make it longer!

The next morning we went to BYU and took a stroll around campus.  It sure has changed since we were last there.
Gettin' some lovin' from my baby.

That afternoon we met Mitch and Elayna at a park (where they were having a Carter reunion) to say hi and have some lunch (and see her cute prego tummy)!
Then we headed over to the Draper area to spend a few days with the Moody clan!

Swimming at Aunt Sheila's!

We crashed Grandpa and Grandma Great's reunion for a few hours and got to swim at Aunt Sheila's!

And after you swim...you relax!  This is the life...and how one should spend summer.

The girls played with Uncle Pepe for a good while too.  (They were kind of sad the next time we went to Aunt Sheila's and he wasn't there!)  I heard Talia say to one of her friend's a few weeks after seeing Pepe (in all seriousness I should add)...
Talia: Do you have a Pepe?
Friend: A what?
Talia: A Pepe?  You should..  He's the best.
I have to agree with Talia.  Uncle Pepe has used his charm on her -  and it worked!

Cute as a bug!

Nobody is cuter in a lady bug swim suit than this girl!
She turned 6 months old on June 19th!  She's the happiest, sweetest baby ever!  And she is loving summer time...she enjoys the pool as much as her big sisters do!

Fire pit!

We had some things changed in our backyard this Spring...added lots of plants and had a fire pit built.  This was our inaugural fire (a little cold and windy on a June day).

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!  Really the Mariner's game was how Darran would want to spend his Father's Day so on Sunday we gave him a few gifts and made him feel special.

Eliza had made him a card and a lady bug out of a rock at school.

Happy Father's Day to a dad who definitely deserves the recognition.  Especially after having to pull off a few weeks of Mr. Mom this last year!  We love you daddy!
