Summer of swimming...

We spent a lot of time at the pool this summer...it was great!  One of the girls' favorite things to do is eat dinner at the pool and then swim with Dad.  Ok...it's probably my favorite thing too.  We went on Eliza's birthday weekend since school would be starting soon.

It's always a sad day when our time at the pool comes to an end...but then we get to look forward to next summer!

Camping with Dad...

Darran and the girls went camping in our backyard in August.  They were sooo excited...unfortunately it was too windy that night so they slept in the comfort of their own beds.

 But while they were still out there they watched a movie, had treats, and told stories together.

 Maybe some day we'll get brave enough to take them on a real camping trip...but for right now this is satisfactory!

Spokane...

When our week at Cocolalla ended we packed things up and went to Spokane for a little while with Andy, Julie, Brayden, and Owen.

 We rode the carousel...

 And played on the big wagon slide for awhile.

 These two are pretty sweet cousins.

 Even Lydia took a turn!

 Never a dull moment when these 3 are together!  

More Cocolalla...

Since we have 2 nieces on their way and 2 cute aunts pregnant with them we decided to have a little family baby shower for them.  Eliza was my official party planner and we did a pretty good job of surprising Elayna and Cassie.

 We had some yummy brunch,,,

 played some games...

 (and realized why we don't usually include men in baby showers...they win all the games.)

 ...and opened gifts.

 We can't wait to meet our new nieces!

 And of course we spent some more time in the water!

 Even Grandpas deserve some rest!

Can't get enough of this girl!  This was the beginning of her teeth coming in...started with 2 on the bottom.  Now she has a mouth full!

Cocolalla...

Amid the moose excitement we had some serious time on the water.

We had to get Audrey and Jon on the tubes a few times before they left.  They drove across the country to their new home...Oklahoma.  We miss being close to them but we know they're doing what's best for them right now.

This little girl loves to eat...and even better when you can do it outside and naked!

Let the "real" tubing begin.  I must be getting old because I can barely watch these crazies anymore!  Much less be in the boat.  But my girls think it's the best thing to be in the boat when Grandpa is driving these uncles around the lake!

Grandpa and Grandma Great joined us for a few days too!
