We made our way to Cocolalla for New Year's. We decided to try out the boat ride to the North Pole at the Lake Cour De'Alene Resort first.
We took a boat ride across the water to the other side. We had a good view of the lights at the resort. And it was nice it be inside the boat since it was FREEZING outside!
The boat stopped right in front of the North Pole and Santa read all the kids names on the nice list. The girls were beyond thrilled when he said their names! He did remind them they have a whole year ahead of them to be good since it was a few days after Christmas!
Pretty excited girls about their boat ride to see Santa!
We were excited to have lots of snow at Cocolalla so we could get in our New Year sledding!
What are we doing?
We walked down to the water and saw the eagles in the trees.
The water was frozen but we had never seen it like this. We could see right through to the bottom and it was so smooth! Too bad we didn't have ice skates!
Sunggly cousins watching movies in Grandpa and Grandmas' bed!
Daddy and Lydia! This time on New Year's Day we brought Lydia home from the hospital. Hard to believe that was a year ago. We sure do love our happy, smiley girl!
We even had some pop-its and noise makers to close out the night.
Happy New Year!
