Grandpa and Grandma Great's house...

On March 14th we made our way over to Yakima to visit with Grandpa and Grandma Great for awhile.

 Lydia looked so cute in their little rocking chair!

We had a nice visit with them in their home.  We sure do love Grandpa and Grandma Great!

BYU Ballet

 On March 7th the BYU Ballet came to Hanford High to perform a Prince and Princess themed show.  They danced excerpts of ballets such as Swan Lake, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, etc.

 They had a greet and meet before the show so the girls got to meet some of the ballerinas.

 And they did a little posing themselves.

 One of the best parts was at intermission all the kids got to go on stage and dance with the ballerinas.  The girls were in heaven!

 They got to meet more dancers after the show.

The girl on the right was the Big Bad Wolf.  Every time she came on stage Lydia would start saying "woo, woo!"  It was a fun event to take the girls to.

Girl's happenings...

 Some happenings around the house...

 Eliza and Talia made a "Royal carpet" down the stairs with baby blankets.

 This is the condition our playroom is in most days.  At least it's played in!

 Family movie night!  Lydia is loving the fact that she is included (for a little while anyway...it stinks to have an early bedtime)!

 The many faces of Eliza...this is what happens when she finds my phone while sitting in time out.  I kind of wish they weren't so blurry because I find them to be very true to her mood swings - that mind you, literally come and go within seconds.

Uh huh...that's right.

I have nightmares already of our teen age years.

Avery's blessing!

 Elayna and Avery came home for a while in February.  It was so fun having them here.  At the end of their stay Mitch flew home for the weekend and they blessed Avery in mom and dad's ward.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We started off the day with red, heart shaped pancakes, purple eggs, and pink milk!

 Talia actually is happy...sometimes it's hard to pose.

 We had our traditional Valentine family dinner.  The girls were so excited to get the tables ready!  It's turned into one of their favorite holiday traditions.

 Darran was very proud of how much food he was able to cook on the BBQ at one time!

All the boys went to the hockey game after dinner...they had a good time!  Brayden even met Winger!

Kauai...

We had to take a picture of a rooster...they were ALL over the island!

 We did a lot of reading...

 lounging around...

 and swimming in the pool.  Doesn't get much better than that!  And it was the best way we could have celebrated 10 years together!

We LOVED Kauai...can't wait to go back there someday!
