Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve day we had church at 8:30am (so happy to be at the end of this)!  Since we just had Sacrament meeting when we got home we had a whole day in front of us!

We were fortunate to have a concert performed for us with lots of Christmas songs!  (And we skyped with Nana and Papa for the last time on their mission!)

And we had fun finding funny apps on our phone cameras!

After Lydia and Karisa woke up from their naps we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's for a bit.  We played some games and visited with cousins.  Then we made our way over to Chris and Missy's for Christmas Eve dinner.  AND...the whole time it was snowing!  We were going to have a white Christmas!

We acted out the Nativity...Talia and Maddox were Mary and Joseph and Ethan was baby Jesus!
 Our little sheep!

Then we tried something different this year and the cousins exchanged socks filled with candy and a special note to them written by whomever had them.

Cousins in their Christmas pajamas!  We forgot to bring ours...oops.
 Dessert!

After we got home we changed into Christmas pajamas and the girls opened up their presents of new ornaments.

Eliza got an owl with books...both things she LOVES!
 Talia got a soccer player!
Lydia got Owlette from PJ Masks.
And Karisa got Santa with a reindeer!  She loves HO!HO! and DEER!

Then it was off to bed to wait for Santa to come.  Merry Christmas Eve!

Pictures with Grandpa and Grandma...

Before we had Lydia's birthday celebration with family Grandpa and Grandma took pictures with all the grandkids.  Dallin did a nice job taking them.  (I don't currently have one with all the grandkids.)

Carousel...

On Friday, December 22, Talia was invited to her friend Charli Kent's birthday party.  When we picked her up this was what she looked like!  We were headed to the Carousel with cousins after that so she got to be a tiger around town!

They had reindeer outside of the Carousel.
 Brayden and Eliza.
Avery was at the Carousel with us too but I guess I didn't get any pictures with her!

When we left it was snowing pretty hard.  Lydia touched the reindeer before we said goodbye...Karisa wanted nothing to do with that!
Then we headed over to Grandma's for dinner and playing with cousins!

Happy Birthday Lydia!

 Happy 4th Birthday Lydia!
Since we had Eliza's MOJO concert to attend the night of Lydia's birthday she got to open up her presents before sisters headed off to school that morning.

Then that night before the concert she had her requested spaghetti dinner and blew out the candles on some cupcakes.

On the 21st we had cousins come over to celebrate her birthday again...and Aunt Elayna's!  Dallin, Cassie, and family were in town as well as Mitch, Elayna, and Avery.  We had pizza for dinner and again Lydia got to blow out her candles on some cupcakes!

Happy 4th birthday Lydia!
We love you so much!  We're so proud of who you are becoming!  You are smart, funny, determined, brave, and such an important part of our family!  4 years ago you had a rough entrance into this world but you've conquered everything that's been put in your path!  We couldn't love our sweet Lydia more!
