Spring Break...

During Spring Break we made a quick trip to Cocolalla. Did a lot of things we needed to get done for the house so not many pictures were taken.

Friday morning we found this deer enjoying a fallen tree outside the kitchen window.

On our way home we stopped at Cabella's. Talia has been studying bears at school so she wanted a picture in front of the polar bear and brown bear. Glad we don't see those animals at Cocolalla!

Lydia wanted to take a picture of the moose. We actually wish we could see these more often at Cocolalla...it's been too long!

Haircuts...

Spring Break gave us some time to get haircuts!

We love this day we have to reflect on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was especially sweet to listen to General Conference, see our new prophet Pres. Nelson, and take in the exciting changes ahead for the church.

We also love this day because we spend a lot of time with our family! The girls woke up to a trail of Easter candy outside their doors leading them downstairs. They found all the eggs they had decorated and got excited for all the yummy treats in their baskets.

Karisa would have been perfectly happy just eating the candy off the floor.

Mom, dad, Tami, Brayden, and Owen joined us for brunch and another egg hunt in the backyard.

Then we went over to Nana and Papa's house for Easter dinner and eggs wars. Jameson and Lorena were there visiting with their family.

Eliza won it all with Talia's egg!

Spirit week...

The week before Spring Break Eliza and Talia had spirit week at school. Here are a few of the days that they dressed up...

Fairy tale character day...Little Red Riding Hood and Tinkerbell.

Dr. Seuss Day...a fox in socks and Cat in the Hat.

Character from a favorite book...Emily Elizabeth and Emily from the Book Scavenger.

Hermana Meneses...

We were lucky to be a part of Tami opening her mission call. She is going to serve in the Mexico Queretaro Mission! She reports to the Mexico MTC on July 24th! She was so nervous and shaking a lot but was full of emotion when she read where she was going! We are so proud of her decision to serve a mission! She is going to be an amazing Hermana!
