Customers in training...

December 12
We don't often go to Yoke's grocery store but the girls love when we do.  We had to get Egg Nog and cheese ball ingredients so our "customers in training" helped us out!

Letters to Santa/Boat parade...

December 1st
Here are the girl's letters to Santa this year.  Karisa had one too...not sure why I didn't take a picture of it.

They took them to Santa's mailbox in the mall.  Here's hoping a lot of wishes come true!
We did a little Christmas shopping.  The girls got a kick out of these masks!

Annual lighted boat parade on the Columbia River!

Since it was December 1st we finished the night opening up new Christmas pajamas!

It's officially December!!

Sick day...

It's rough to be sick but sometimes mom enjoys the extra snuggles.

Happy Birthday Darran!

Happy Birthday Dad!
We celebrated daddy's birthday by having dinner with Nana and Papa (Grandpa and Grandma were in California for Eli's blessing).  It's always fun to celebrate a dad we love so much!  He does everything we could ever want a dad to do!  We love you!

We gave him a daddy shark shirt so the girls had to show us how it's done!

 Mud pie "cake!"
Happy Birthday Daddy!

Tree decorating party...

November 25th
Christmas tree decorating party!
Always a favorite tradition!  We love to eat and get ready for Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  November 22nd
We gathered at Dean and Sarah's house this year for Thanksgiving.  It's been fun to see our kids get to know Sarah's nieces on her side.  It was a yummy dinner as always with great company!

The night before we had went over to Nana and Papa's to play games.  It was great to have Myanna home from BYY...we missed Chris and Missy who were spending Thanksgiving in Utah.

After Thanksgiving dinner with the Moody family we went over to Andy and Julie's to celebrate Makenna's birthday with the Hague family.  It made for a fun family filled Thanksgiving!  We love being near so much family and couldn't feel more blessed.  We're thankful for a day that reminds us of all we have to be grateful for!

Christmas Parade...

November 17th we went to the Christmas Parade at the mall.  But it kind of ended with a flop...we had talked up seeing Santa to Karisa - he always comes at the end.  But there was construction going on close to where we were watching from.  Little did we know that Santa stopped short of where we were and went into the mall!  So we didn't even get to see him!  That made for a pretty disappointed 2 year old!

But we did leave with a lot of candy!  Here come the holidays!

Saying good-bye to the G's house...

November 16th we went to Grandpa and Grandma Great's house for the last time.  Grandma had already moved to their new apartment where she can get the help throughout the day she needs.  Grandpa still had things at their house they needed to move out or take to the dump.  We went to help and say good-bye to their home.  It was bittersweet.  It's a good move for them but there are a lot of memories in that house.

The kitchen was one of my favorite places in the house...I loved sitting in there, eating a meal, and looking out at their spectacular view.

We took a break for dinner and then went and visited Grandma before we headed home.

Grandpa and Dad in front of the house...I'm sure they were feeling a lot of emotions.
Hard to leave such a wonderful home.
