Happy Birthday Lydia!

Happy Birthday to Lydia!!! 5 years old on December 19th!  She wanted to have friends and cousins over to watch the Polar Express in their pajamas.  We had pizza for dinner, watched the movie, and ended with cupcakes and presents!

Oh how we love this girl.  She came into the world with some odds stacked against her but she is one determined, happy girl.  We can't imagine our family without our Lyd Byd!

We love you Lydia!  Happy Birthday!

Dance recital...

On December 18th Eliza had her dance performance at the Children's Academy Theater.  She has been taking dance with Shantal's company Thrive.  She has really enjoyed her teacher Christine and the opportunity to be in class with Eleanor!

Gingerbread houses...

December 16th we made Gingerbread houses.  These girls are always very creative...while eating lots of candy at the same time!

Visit to the G's...

We love visiting Grandpa and Grandma Great!  We shared with them Eliza and Talia's Christmas recital pieces and enjoyed their company.  We love them both so much!

Ward Christmas party...

Our ward Christmas party was breakfast and Christmas cheer.

The primary sang some Christmas songs and we got to visit with Santa!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas piano recital...

 December 14
Talia and Eliza had their Christmas Recital at the Richland Public Library on December 15th.  This was Talia's first recital and they both did great!
Talia played Up on the Housetop.
Eliza played When Christmas Comes to Town (from the Polar Express).  I'll miss hearing her play this every day.  It's such a pretty song!
We're so proud of how hard they practiced and prepared!

Preschool Christmas program...

December 14
Lydia had her preschool Christmas program and she was so excited to lead the class into the Sanctuary!  She did such a good job singing all her Christmas songs!

Customers in training...

December 12
We don't often go to Yoke's grocery store but the girls love when we do.  We had to get Egg Nog and cheese ball ingredients so our "customers in training" helped us out!

Letters to Santa/Boat parade...

December 1st
Here are the girl's letters to Santa this year.  Karisa had one too...not sure why I didn't take a picture of it.

They took them to Santa's mailbox in the mall.  Here's hoping a lot of wishes come true!
We did a little Christmas shopping.  The girls got a kick out of these masks!

Annual lighted boat parade on the Columbia River!

Since it was December 1st we finished the night opening up new Christmas pajamas!

It's officially December!!

Sick day...

It's rough to be sick but sometimes mom enjoys the extra snuggles.
