Let it snow, let it snow...let it stop!

Wow! Our little corner of the country sure is getting it's fair share of winter weather. We've had snow storms for over a week now and there's still more to come. It's fun to think we'll have a white Christmas but I think Darran, and many others, are tired of shoveling. He shovels our driveway nice and clear and then a couple hours later it's covered again!
Eliza hasn't been out in the cold much but we took her out for just a few minutes to get a picture. Unfortunately, it's not very good packing snow otherwise Dad would have made her a nice big one!

Cute Friends

Eliza's friend Brea came over for a visit! They were so sweet together!

Christmas time!

The presents are starting to cover the bottom of the tree...and surprisingly they aren't ALL for Eliza. (Ok, the majority are.) She's excited!
We saw Santa at Walmart...it was free to take a picture with him, there was no line, and Eliza was in a good mood...so we thought why not? Although, she doesn't seem to enthused, but it could have been worse. Not bad for her first Santa photo!

Sleeping...again!

I promised myself I wouldn't take anymore "sleeping" pictures because we have plenty...but I couldn't resist. Darran came home from his early Sunday morning meetings and took Eliza while I got ready for church. When I came downstairs this is what I found. Both of them ready for church but not quite awake enough!

Tradition!

It's Hague tradition to have a tree decorating party when the tree goes up. Mom and Dad came over to help us decorate the tree, eat lots of food, and watch the BYU basketball game. Apparently we forgot to get an "after" picture, but I'm sure we'll get plenty of those in the next couple of weeks!

Oh, so big!

Eliza has started to roll over from this position. In my attempt to record her doing just that of course she wouldn't. So I just took a picture of her enjoying tummy time. You would think she recognizes the camera by now as many pictures we take of her, but she looks a little perplexed in this one!

Lots of laughs!

Eliza is really starting to have a personality. She is starting to laugh now too. Dad seems to be able to get her to do it quite often!

Family fun.

Eliza liked to chew on her bumbo while we all played cards. Although, she did try to help Grandma a couple of times with her hand!

Eliza and Aunt Elayna...we love you!

Eliza with Uncle Andy and Aunt Julie. Andy did a great job of putting Eliza to sleep! It was so fun to have them home...Eliza was probably getting tired of me telling her all about them so she was excited to finally meet them!
Laughing with Great Grandpa Hague!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Lori's family. Thanks to mom for yet another wonderful Thanksgiving meal. It was a nice, relaxing day with lots of eating, napping, football, and cards. We loved spending it with Great Grandpa and Grandma Hague too. We spent some time with the Moodys over the holiday too but for some reason forgot to take pictures! But we were glad to spend some time with Derek and Shantal and Dustin's family.
Dad's turn to eat...and then mom's!
Notice in both pictures Eliza preferred to stare at the food not the camera! Sorry no turkey this year...maybe next year!

Happy Birthday Darran!

Although celebrating birthdays isn't one of Darran's favorite things to do this one wasn't half bad since he had Eliza to share it with. Since his birthday was on Thanksgiving Day he and I kind of celebrated the weekend before. We went and saw Children of Eden on Friday night and then Saturday morning went out to breakfast and then watched lots of football. Then on his birthday we celebrated with turkey and all the trimmings! Another birthday, another year older!

3 months old!

We decided to get Eliza an early Christmas present...a Bumbo. We figured she could use it now instead of waiting until Christmas...and she seems to agree. She will be three months old on Sunday and LOVES to sit up but still needs a little help. She was even playing on her stomach the other night with Darran and rolled over! Most likely not on purpose but I was sad I missed it! I had just run upstairs for a second...but that's as long as it takes for her to discover something new! She is changing and growing sooo fast!

Ready to go!

All bundled up and ready to go! Although...Eliza is starting to make it known that putting on a jacket and sitting in a car seat are not on her list of favorite things to do. But she's just to darn cute in her little bear jacket!
