Wedding Day!

This beautiful couple tied the knot on August 13th! We are so happy for Elayna and Mitch! The sealing and reception were beautiful!Eliza was thrilled to finally have the day here too. She couldn't wait for the "party" that night at Grandpa and Grandma's! Though she acted as if it were a trial in her life to have to wear a blue dress (instead of pink) I couldn't take it off of her at any point during the day. This girl is already a little too infatuated with weddings!Mommy, Eliza, Talia and Grandma...waiting for the bride and groom to come out!The whole Hague family in front of the temple. What a blessing to have everyone home for such a special day!My siblings...where has time gone? And this is Talia...often you will find her with those 2 little fingers in her mouth. I already dread trying to get her to stop...but man she's cute!Playing while waiting for Aunt Elayna to come out of the temple. You can almost see it in her eyes how much she wanted to get in that water! She was such a trooper that whole day...and I should say the whole summer. Eliza spent many Saturdays at Grandpa and Grandma's getting the yard ready. The beautiful bride at the reception.See...every once in awhile the fingers leave the mouth!Ummm...not sure what to say. This girl lives in princess land. So why not take advantage of the situation? She's in a pretty dress, there's a handsome boy, music is playing...why not ask for a dance?Mitch and Elayna cutting the cake. The proud parents! It really was a wonderful day. Congratulations Mitch and Elayna! We love you both so much!

Fun in the water...

We snuck up to Cocolalla for a little while to get some boating in before the wedding. It was a successful trip because Mitch water skied......and Eliza tubed! She went with Aunt Elayna and had a really good time!Talia loves the boat too...although it doesn't take long for her to be lulled to sleep by the noise and wind!

Shower time!

Wedding time is approaching...we had a shower for Elayna on July 28th. She was showered by love and gifts from those who graciously attended! Here she is contemplating questions Sis. Miller is asking her about Mitch. For the record...she did very well answering them!Talia crashed the party...she should have been sleeping but she wanted to be in on the action. She's becoming quite social! Opening lots of gifts!Congratulations Elayna! We are so happy for you! Mitch is one lucky guy! We love you!

H is for Hague...

H is for the Hague Family Reunion we attended July 18-22nd at Bear Lake, UT. We enjoyed a week of visiting, games, food, boating, milkshakes, and Family Home Evenings. Here's Eliza with her loot from the H piƱata. She had a good time playing and getting to know some of the other Hague great-grandchildren.Grandpa and Grandma Hague and all their grandchildren that were able to make it.Grandpa and Grandma with their children.Grandpa and Grandma with their children and spouses.
Another fun and successful Hague family reunion!

Yogurt please...

A little for you......and a little for me.Sisters sharing some yogurt before church. Yum!

4th of July...

We spent Independence Day on a houseboat exploring Lake Roosevelt with "the cousins" (as Eliza would say). We had a blast! The weather was beautiful, the scenery outstanding, and the company wonderful!Eliza and I on the top deck of the boat. She had a hard time imagining what this boat with a bed was going to look like...but she's still asking for us to go back on the houseboat! We enjoyed playing in the sand......and the clay. The brave ones spent time in the cold water and going down the slide. The rest soaked up the warm water in the hot tub!Of course, there was book reading. I love Talia in this picture...completely enthralled by a book we read over and over and over...There was some spectacular fishing that took place...by some pretty talented fishermen.Lots of playing with the cousins. (Talia and Maddox)Some, uh, modeling? I have no explanation for this picture. We definitely got dirty......but it was too much fun being in the sand! The boating, tubing, and skiing was excellent!Talia, me, and Eliza enjoying the hot tub.Cousin hot tub time! What a great way to celebrate our nation's independence! All the cousins on top of the boat.Happy 4th of July!

Rub-a-dub-dub!

The one and only time I have been able to get my girls to bathe at the same time. I know the odds of it happening again are not good...thus, it was picture worthy. My almost 3 year old only takes showers...sigh.
