Happy Birthday Eliza!

Eliza turned 3 years old on Tuesday! She has been so excited for this birthday! She went swimming, watched a movie, had grandparents over for dinner and cake, and opened presents. The proud girl with all her loot! She got princess dress up clothes. It didn't take long before she was ready to model for the camera.Belle.Snow White.Sleeping Beauty. At her request...a pink cake - inside and outside.
Eliza we love you so much! You have been a joy in our lives these last three years! You learn so much every day! It's a blessing to watch you grow older. Thank you for being such a wonderful daughter!
Happy Birthday!

Time for a break!

With the wedding behind us we headed to Cocolalla for a few days to take a break and relax! It was great! Eliza became a little fisherman. There was plenty of games to be played.Fun in the sand and sun.And Oreos that had to be eaten with Grandpa.Luckily at this point a fish is a fish...it didn't matter to Eliza the size or type she just had a good time catching them. And Talia loved looking at them up close! On a walk with Grandpa and Grandma. Our girls love boating!Darran and I getting our turn on the tubes. Though it's nothing compared to the rides my brothers take we thought it was great! Man we're getting old!Eliza loves to tube! Especially with her aunts!Riding with Aunt Julie and talking with Aunt Cassie. Darran and I are yet to actually be on a tube with her...good thing she has aunts that she adores!Eliza and Darran kayaking.A trip to Cocolalla isn't complete without a fire!Unlce Dallin and Talia.Bring on the foil dinners! They were delicious! And of course s'mores. But I don't think Eliza ever actually had one...what's the need when the marshmallow bag is sitting right in front of you!

Flowers...

Eliza has always enjoyed helping her daddy in the garden. This year she chose to plant some wild flowers along with all that went into the garden. She's pretty proud of them and they've turned out to be quite beautiful flowers.

Wedding Day!

This beautiful couple tied the knot on August 13th! We are so happy for Elayna and Mitch! The sealing and reception were beautiful!Eliza was thrilled to finally have the day here too. She couldn't wait for the "party" that night at Grandpa and Grandma's! Though she acted as if it were a trial in her life to have to wear a blue dress (instead of pink) I couldn't take it off of her at any point during the day. This girl is already a little too infatuated with weddings!Mommy, Eliza, Talia and Grandma...waiting for the bride and groom to come out!The whole Hague family in front of the temple. What a blessing to have everyone home for such a special day!My siblings...where has time gone? And this is Talia...often you will find her with those 2 little fingers in her mouth. I already dread trying to get her to stop...but man she's cute!Playing while waiting for Aunt Elayna to come out of the temple. You can almost see it in her eyes how much she wanted to get in that water! She was such a trooper that whole day...and I should say the whole summer. Eliza spent many Saturdays at Grandpa and Grandma's getting the yard ready. The beautiful bride at the reception.See...every once in awhile the fingers leave the mouth!Ummm...not sure what to say. This girl lives in princess land. So why not take advantage of the situation? She's in a pretty dress, there's a handsome boy, music is playing...why not ask for a dance?Mitch and Elayna cutting the cake. The proud parents! It really was a wonderful day. Congratulations Mitch and Elayna! We love you both so much!

Fun in the water...

We snuck up to Cocolalla for a little while to get some boating in before the wedding. It was a successful trip because Mitch water skied......and Eliza tubed! She went with Aunt Elayna and had a really good time!Talia loves the boat too...although it doesn't take long for her to be lulled to sleep by the noise and wind!

Shower time!

Wedding time is approaching...we had a shower for Elayna on July 28th. She was showered by love and gifts from those who graciously attended! Here she is contemplating questions Sis. Miller is asking her about Mitch. For the record...she did very well answering them!Talia crashed the party...she should have been sleeping but she wanted to be in on the action. She's becoming quite social! Opening lots of gifts!Congratulations Elayna! We are so happy for you! Mitch is one lucky guy! We love you!

H is for Hague...

H is for the Hague Family Reunion we attended July 18-22nd at Bear Lake, UT. We enjoyed a week of visiting, games, food, boating, milkshakes, and Family Home Evenings. Here's Eliza with her loot from the H piƱata. She had a good time playing and getting to know some of the other Hague great-grandchildren.Grandpa and Grandma Hague and all their grandchildren that were able to make it.Grandpa and Grandma with their children.Grandpa and Grandma with their children and spouses.
Another fun and successful Hague family reunion!
