5th grade choral festival...

Tuesday, March 26th

Eliza's 5th Grade Choral Festival

She's on the 2nd row third from the right in a pink dress. They sang with half of the 5th graders in the district at Southridge High School.

We love this girl! So proud of you Eliza!

While dad was away this happened...I was putting the girls to bed one night and we turned on the light in Karisa's room. All of a sudden it smelled like something was burning! We could not figure out what it was but could tell it was coming from somewhere high up. I started to get concerned that it was coming from the attic...that maybe there was a fire up there?! Then we notice a tiny bit of smoke coming from Karisa's ceiling light/fan. And then it dawns on Eliza what it is. She had thrown a pair of socks back into Karisa's room earlier that day! She remembered hearing a 'clink' but didn't know where it landed cause she had been in a hurry. We quickly turned off the light and I got the pair of socks out. It smelled sooo bad and happened so fast! I'm glad we figured out what it was before it was too late! After the fact, it was pretty funny!

Duet piano recital...

Piano Duet Recital

Sis. Jacobsen had a piano duet recital at the Thomas's house.

Talia played a song with Maddox and a friend.

Eliza and Eve Gledhill played together.

And we even got to watch Arabella and Alissa do a trio with Sis. Jacobsen. It was a fun recital!

Eliza and Talia wanted to participate in the Leprechaun Dash again this year. It was a cold morning with snow still on the ground (and frozen water behind us) but they ran fast and had fun!

We visited Grandpa and Grandma Great today. We always love the time that we have with them. We've made it a tradition to go to MOD pizza after our visits with them. We sure do love being close enough to see them as often as we do!
