Happy "Grandfather's" Day!

Grandpa and Grandma took the girls to Yakima this weekend to visit Grandpa and Grandma Great and take a swim in Aunt Sheila's pool!

 What an amazing Grandpa he is!  He spent the whole afternoon in the pool...Lydia didn't want to stop swimming!

The girls stayed overnight at Grandpa and Grandma Great's house.  They went to church with them on Sunday and then celebrated Father's Day and Grandpa Great's birthday.  They had a blast!  We decided that we were going to call Sunday "Grandfather's" Day since they got to spend time with their Grandpa and Grandma Great.  We will postpone Father's Day till I'm home and we can celebrate it the right way!  Though Darran and I did have a nice time together...as nice as it can be in the hospital!  We watched a movie, played games, and had some good talks.

 When mom and dad and the girls got home they came by the hospital for a few minutes.  Grandpa opened his Father's Day gift and then they headed home to get some rest!

Happy "Grandfather's" day to a loving, fun, patient, and helpful Grandpa!  Happy "Grandfather's" Day to a Great Grandpa that I admire so much.  It has been a huge blessing in my life and my girl's lives to live close to him and learn from him.

And of course Happy Father's Day to Darran!  He'll have his special day soon enough but we couldn't let the day go by without acknowledging what an incredible dad he is.  He blesses our lives daily.  And because he is such an involved dad he knew exactly where to pick up with me in the hospital.  He's good at being dad and Mr. Mom.  We love him with all our hearts and think the world of him!  Happy Father's Day!
